Struggling with the notion that it's life not film

I go crazy cause here isn’t where I wanna be
And satisfaction feels like a distant memory
And I can’t help myself,
All I wanna hear her say is “Are you mine?”

This song could not have come at a better time. Arctic Monkeys to the rescue yet again.

Arctic Monkeys: Don’t Sit Down Cause I’ve Moved Your Chair Live at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend

Best song on the new album. I find it kinda sad that a couple of years ago they could have got the entire crowd going crazy and nowadays people are barely even paying attention. When I saw them at Leeds in 2009 it was the same, the crowd was just stood either texting, complaining that they didn’t play Mardy Bum or that “this new shit is shit”. Sigh. Can’t say much for the band themselves either, that riff is so nice and chunky, can’t believe they’re just stood around. You need to go mental boys. Stupid fucking leather jackets too.

Been listening to this constantly since it leaked. Trying so hard to like it but it’s pretty meh in honesty. All good, catchy tunes just nothing earth shattering apart from the three badass riff songs in the middle. Such a random, vintage rock/croony love song direction they’ve gone in.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the cover for Arctic Monkeys’ upcoming fourth album Suck It and See. And yes….it sucks balls. Let’s hope the songs are better.

Official video for Arctic Monkeys’ new single Don’t Sit Down Cause I’ve Moved Your Chair

Another Arctic Monkeys song and another absolutely awful music video. Seriously who’s in charge of their music videos? I’ve not seen a great one yet (at least not from Humbug and the new one so far). It’s a shame cos I actually think this song is pretty great.

Oh. My. God. THIS is what I’ve been waiting for. You better believe I’m ready for the Arctic Monkeys’ groovy riffs album. Wasn’t too keen on Brick by Brick, but this badboy has me swooning. Bring on June 6th!

Despite having heard this album hundreds and hundreds of times, I still love it to death. When I’m an old man, I’m going to look back on Arctic Monkeys as one of the defining bands of my teenage years. Literally, 2006-2007 was dominated by them.

Such an amazing cover.
