You know, while on the topic of Fincher, it’s a good time to bring up just how much I love both Panic Room and The Game. People always forget these movies when talking about his filmography, maybe because they’re more throwaway in nature due to the genres and conventions they work with, but they’re still both really great and really entertaining movies.  Panic Room especially...

Also, I am aware it was actually David Fincher’s birthday yesterday but I had them all que’d up and tumblr didn’t post them so I figured I might as well post them a little late. I assure you I am not living life on a broken clock!

September is going to be an overwhelming month for...
I’ll be seeing Drive, Kill List, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, 30 Minutes or Less, Warrior and Melancholia not to mention Taxi Driver is getting re-released in UK theatres for a week. Best month ever. Im just happy Drive and Melancholia are actually coming out over here in good time as I dont think I could handle having to wait until next year to see them.

Hanna is one of those movies that I enjoyed but grow to love the more I think about it. I think the film loses it’s focus and strength by the final act but the imagery, music and texture of it is so goddamn nice. All the fairy tale imagery and use of circles and bright colours contrasted against pale ones. It really is such a nice film to live inside for 2 hours. Can’t wait to watch it...
