Just watched Animal House for the first time in years. That film never gets old. Complete riot from beginning to end. Belushi is God-like. The music, the characters, the dialogue - it all still feels so fresh and fun. They sure as hell don’t make em’ like they used to.

Hopefully it’ll have a good story and not just (insert twenty-five minute chase sequence here) like the last two. Roger, Javier, Ralph, and Sam sounds like a perfect team though.
Well I think Casino Royale is an amazing movie from beginning to end and how dare you suggest otherwise! But Quantum of...

I’m sure many people have thought to themselves “Oh God imagine an Avengers movie written and directed by Joss Whedon” and now it’s actually happening. It’s so surreal. I...

I thought he supposedly dropped Bond 23? I honestly just really love Sam Mendes so much, and I especially hold Away We Go close to my heart.
Bond 23 itself got dropped when MGM were going through their big troubles but it was re-announced at the end of the last year with Mendes locked in. They’re in pre-production...

Rewatched Road to Perdition last night
I must have seen it about four or five times now but it never ceases to amaze me how beautiful that film looks. Conrad Hall was one hell of a cinematographer. Academy Award well earned. The performances are really interesting too, Tom Hanks, Jude Law, Daniel Craig and Paul Newman all play completely against type. A very majestic gangster movie indeed. Sam Mendes has become a really underrated...

Watching the extended cut of The Town
I thought the theatrical cut was pretty great the more I thought about it and was worried the extended would make it overlong and baggy but it actually adds so much to it. It really feels like a huge crime saga. Such great performances. Affleck is turning into a fantastic filmmaker.
I also felt that Ron and Hermione would have gotten divorced. I’m sorry, I just...
